Great Sleeping Night care
Highly personalised sleeping night care
At ICare Resource Limited our sleeping night care service provides families with a tailored care at home service designed around your needs, enabling loved ones who require some extra additional attention in the night to remain in the comfort of their own home whilst maintaining the highest quality of life achievable.
Our sleeping night care service is a flexible care option enabling you to stay at home with support from a professional carer throughout the night for a minimum of eight hours. This is the best support option if you or a loved one wakes several times perhaps being disorientated or needing to go to the bathroom
Sleeping night care enables you to continue to live the life how you want to, on your terms, with a care professional providing support as and when you need them for the duration of the night.
CQC regulated home care
Unlike introduction agencies we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) giving you the peace of mind that the care and support we provide is regularly monitored, inspected and regulated by the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
At ICare Resource Limited, we have been rated Good and we know that this gives our clients and their families the comfort that they are receiving the best care service available.
Locally managed sleeping night care
Our professional carers are matched to our clients to support them at home and we pride ourselves on delivering a highly personalised sleeping night care service underpinned by basic principles such as continuity of carer, introductions before care commences, minimum visits of 8 hour and a genuine focus on health and social well-being.
Our carers are fully employed by us and they undergo an extensive recruitment and selection process including interviews, reference checks and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. They are also trained in all aspects of the care we deliver including specialist training for complex conditions.
Your needs will be initially assessed, and you will be provided with the type of carer who is likely to suit your needs. If you or your loved one wake that often during the night – perhaps once or twice, then a carer that sleeps at night will be provided.
A sleeping night carer will usually sleep during the night but they are on hands any time during the night that you need assistance. The rest of the quiet time, your carer should be sleeping. Normally, a carer working a “sleeping night” would not expect to have to get up any more than twice. If your loved one needs more frequent attention than this, the shift would be classed as a “waking night”
Our care management team also undertakes regular monitoring of the care we provide, including an initial review after the first 4-weeks, formal reviews at least every 6 months, annual feedback questionnaires and ongoing monitoring of any concerns, events or issues. We also invest a huge amount of time in training, supervising, developing and supporting our carers which is key to enabling them to provide the highest quality care.
What is Sleeping Night care?
Sleeping night care is a form of overnight care where your carer will be available throughout the night to provide your care. The difference between sleeping night care and waking night care is that whilst both are there to help you overnight, a sleeping night carer will sleep during the quieter moments, ensuring they are sufficiently refreshed to continue providing your support the following day. Whereas a waking night carer is fully trained to be available during the night to provide your support.
The care carer sleeps at the property for a minimum of eight hours and is on hand if required. This option will suit if you don’t require regular support, but feel uncomfortable when left alone throughout the night. Anxieties and sleep deprivation can soon be improved with a sleeping night care professional there to support you. Having that extra night care at home can really help you remain healthy and happy. If assistance is needed more than twice during the night, this will be considered a waking night.
