At ICare Resource Limited, we have been rated Good and we know that this gives our clients and their families the comfort that they are receiving the best care service available.
Locally managed live-in care
Our professional carers are matched to our clients to support them at home and we pride ourselves on delivering a highly personalised live-in care service underpinned by basic principles such as continuity of carer, introductions before care commences, 24-hours care and a genuine focus on health and social well-being.
Our carers are fully employed by us and they undergo an extensive recruitment and selection process including interviews, reference checks and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. They are also trained in all aspects of the care we deliver including specialist training for complex conditions.
Your needs will be initially assessed, and you will be provided with the type of carer who is likely to suit your needs. If you or your loved one needs a lot of assistance throughout the day & night – then a carer that lives in the house will be provided.
With our live-in carers, customers are able to maintain ownership of their homes and stay living in their known environment – which is essential for mental health and wellbeing. Plus by staying in your home and known environment, you remain within your own community, close to friends and families, neighbours and social events.
Our care management team also undertakes regular monitoring of the care we provide, including an initial review after the first 4-weeks, formal reviews at least every 6 months, annual feedback questionnaires and ongoing monitoring of any concerns, events or issues. We also invest a huge amount of time in training, supervising, developing and supporting our carers which is key to enabling them to provide the highest quality care.
