If your loved one is suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s or has had a Stroke you may be thinking of suitable care. Care in the home encourages the individual to stay independent whilst receiving care in the familiarity and comfort of their own home.  Individuals remain in a stable and consistent environment which can reduce anxiety and upset, as well as minimises disruption and confusion for the loved one. Providing help and peace of mind for the family, it can also offer them the chance to take a break from time to time.  We work together with the client, the family and healthcare services to provide a tailor-made service designed to stimulate and support individuals in their daily activities at home.

Specialised Care

Custom scheduled plans tailored to suit your needs!

Good specialised care

Highly personalised specialised home care

At ICare Resource Limited our specialised care service provides families with a tailored care at home service designed around your needs, enabling loved ones who require some additional support in the tasks of daily living to remain in the comfort of their own home whilst maintaining the highest quality of life achievable.

Our specialised care service is a flexible care option enabling you to stay at home with support from a professional carer for as little as 1 hour a week through to multiple hours a day, or even sleepovers or waking nights.

Specialised care enables you to continue to live the life how you want to, on your terms, providing support with anything from basic domestic support, companionship, personal care, medication help, through to support with more complex specialised conditions such as dementia, learning disability or Parkinson’s.

CQC regulated home care

Unlike introduction agencies we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) giving you the peace of mind that the care and support we provide is regularly monitored, inspected and regulated by the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

At ICare Resource Limited, we have been rated Good and we know that this gives our clients and their families the comfort that they are receiving the best care service available.

Locally managed specialised care

Our professional carers are matched to our clients to support them at home and we pride ourselves on delivering a highly specialised care service underpinned by basic principles such as continuity of carer, introductions before care commences, minimum visits of 1 hour and a genuine focus on health and social well-being.

Our carers are fully employed by us and they undergo an extensive recruitment and selection process including interviews, reference checks and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. They are also trained in all aspects of the care we deliver including specialist training for complex conditions.

Our specialised care service is supported and managed 24/7 by our care management team. This is a key reason families use ICare Resource Limited as many other care providers are either large national organisations, franchises, or they are focused on providing 15 – 30 minute care visits under contracts to councils which prevents them from being able to offer a high quality, tailored care service.

Our care management team also undertakes regular monitoring of the care we provide, including an initial review after the first 4-weeks, formal reviews at least every 6 months, annual feedback questionnaires and ongoing monitoring of any concerns, events or issues. We also invest a huge amount of time in training, supervising, developing and supporting our carers which is key to enabling them to provide the highest quality care.

What is Hourly care?

Hourly home care is a flexible care service providing those who require additional support to remain independent at home with a package of care to suit their needs.

At ICare Resource Limited, our hourly home care service involves one-to-one care visits of 1 hour upwards from your carer at the most suitable times for you. The service can also include longer visits or even sleepovers or waking nights. We also understand that your hourly home care needs may change over time, so we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Your carer can support you with anything from companionship, cooking, cleaning through to personal care, medication management or more complex support for specialist conditions such as dementia care, Parkinson’s care or post stroke care.

Hourly home care FAQs

Hourly home care is a type of elderly care service in which a carer provides additional support in the client’s own home. Hourly home care is a flexible service which can be personalised to your needs and can include anything from basic domestic support, companionship, personal care, medication help, through to supporting people with more complex conditions such as dementia or Parkinson’s. Hourly home care can be provided from 1 hour to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and may involve sleepover night care or waking night care.

Most older people would prefer to remain in their own home rather than being forced to move into a residential care home or nursing home. Hourly home care enables an older person to retain their independence in the comfort of their own home with the peace of mind of one-to-one care from a professional carer when they need it. With hourly home care you can continue to enjoy the things we may take for granted such as control over daily routines, friends and family being able to visit anytime, couples being able to remain together and staying with pets. Hourly home care also reduces the risk of incidents occurring and families having to make ‘reactive’ unplanned decisions regarding care.

Hourly home care is a flexible service so whether you or your loved one are looking for high quality but low level assistance, often whilst getting used to receiving help, or a more involved service, requiring us to work closely with GPs and district nurses for support with specialist conditions, our hourly care service can be tailored to meet your needs.

Hourly home care is a flexible option and can be designed around your needs and routines. You may only require 1 hour of support per week, a single or a number of daily visits may be best or you may require overnight support. Your care is agreed with you following an assessment of your care needs and can be adjusted at any time should your needs or preferences change.

Yes! We also provide a locally managed live-in care service which enables families who require more extensive care and support to remain in the comfort of their own home rather than having to move into a residential care home. Find out more about live-in care from ICare Resource Limited
